My Melange stands for 'my mix': a mix of fashion for different people, styles and moments. A place to go for something comfy for at home, a lovely outfit for an evening out, something for work or simply a nice casual look for every day. For both women and men.

I choose all the My Melange collections myself when buying. I think it's important that there isn't only something for one particular age or one particular body type. I aim for a collection in which as many people as possible can recognise themselves and feel good. That's why I deliberately choose different styles and fits, in sizes 34 to 48.

My own story in fashion started as a sales assistant in a clothing shop. I loved the contact with customers and working with fashion, but I soon knew I wanted more. More responsibility, being able to make my own choices and bringing my own ideas to life.

And that's how My Melange came about. At the age of 21 I opened my own shop, with a clear picture of what I wanted to create: an accessible and personal shop where different ages, body types and styles come together.

Because that's what My Melange is: my mix of fashion, styles and people, with something lovely for everyone.
